Cold Blood aka Tough

The fifth horse rescued by Apache Rose, Tough (racing name,Cold Blood) was retired from racing due to a severe low bowed tendon and pressure wound. Tough was  deemed a life-long pasture horse, no trot, no canter. He receives daily treatments to include fresh leg wrappings  and ice wraps twice daily.  Tough was put on stall rest from intake in September of 2017 and began light turnout in November of 2017 for approximately one hour per day. He is showing signs of improvement as we continue to strive for a pain free life.
